Practice questions for Chapter 9.    Posted: Nov 9, 2009 I have added 50 practice questions for chapter 9 (imperfect competition). Click on Course Content, then Chapter 9. You can submit your answers to these questions as many times as you wish. No score will be recorded.

Exam 2 grades are posted!    Posted: Oct 28, 2009 Grades for exam 2 are available under Gradebook.

No Office Hours Today (Tuesday 10/20)    Posted: Oct 20, 2009 My office hours for today are cancelled. Instead, I will be in tomorrow (Wednesday) from noon - 3 pm. REMEMBER: Exam 2 on Thursday (chapters 4-7).

Online assignment for chapter 6    Posted: Oct 19, 2009 There is no online assignment for chapter 6 that you have to take for a grade. Instead, I have posted two practice quizzes for chapter 6. You will be able to take these quizzes as many times as you wish. No grade will be recorded for them in the Gradebook. They can be found under Course Content, Chapter 6.

Deadline for online assignment    Posted: Sep 16, 2009 The deadline for the online assignment on chapter 3 has been extended until 11:55 p.m. on Thursday 9/17.

First exam    Posted: Sep 14, 2009 Exam One will be in class on Tuesday, 9/22. It will cover Chapters 1 (plus appendix), 2, and 3.

Online assignment chapter 3    Posted: Sep 14, 2009 The online assignment for Chapter 3 has been posted (click Course Content, then Online Assignments). It is due just before class on Thursday.

Online Chapters    Posted: Sep 9, 2009 As a courtesy, the textbook publisher made available the first 3 chapters of the text for online use. This should give you time to purchase the text. Further chapters are not available online.

Assignments on Chapters 1 and 2    Posted: Sep 9, 2009 Online assignments have been posted for Chapters 1 and 2. Find them under "Course Content" then "Online Assignments." Due date for both assignments is Monday 9/14 at 11:55 pm.

Course Description
This course covers the determination of prices, demand and supply, behavior of the firm, and resource allocation.

Student Registration

On your first visit, you should register to obtain access to password-protected areas (such as Gradebook and the Discussion Area). Click on Student Registration and proceed from there. Remember your userID and password!

To provide feedback or ask questions about the website or anything discussed in class, use the Discussion Area. For lecture notes, stuff discussed in class, online quizzes, etc., go to Course Content. And don't neglect the Web Links area, where I have provided links to outside resources that may help you. There's some neat stuff there.
